Post Modern Beach
This piece began at square one with no clear idea of subject matter or anything else. The client and I worked together, pouring over all kinds of possibilities, to narrow down the style, dimensions, color palette and a landscape of some kind. I sketched the first five images below as compositional options that worked within the parameters that we had set. The beach was her clear favorite.
