Monte Granite
The purpose of this mural was to create an outdoor setting for three disparate granite displays. I made the background diffused and rather dull with the aim of keeping attention on the displays rather than on the mural. I needed to employ many visual “tricks” to create a cohesive environment that played well up close and at a distance from many different viewpoints. The result is that, while no particular view is perfect, this mural can be viewed at any angle and still convey a convincing sense of depth.
