Portraits
A commissioned portrait always begins with a healthy discussion of how the client wants to be portrayed…formal vs. casual…personal vs. professional…etc. Questions are answered as to setting, clothing, props, 3/4 view, full length or head and shoulders only. All of these variables impact the overall impression conveyed as well as the price. Then photos are taken and reviewed, sketches approved and on to the finished work.
